Autumn/Winter Vaccination Programme 23/24
The winter vaccination programme 2023 for influenza and covid-19 booster is due to start in the month of October. The Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety are advising those eligible to boost their immunity this winter by getting their Flu and Covid-19 vaccinations. Our records show that you are eligible to receive one or both of these vaccines.
The vaccination clinics this year will be held at the practice and both Flu and Covid-19 booster will be available on the same day. To book your appointment please ring our dedicated booking number 028 274 41933 between 11am and 4pm (excluding a Wednesday afternoon and over lunchtime closure). Please let us know at time of booking your appointment if you want to have one or both vaccines.
We are currently vaccinating patients who are 65 years and older. If you have not received an invite please contact the surgery.
IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19 PLEASE CANCEL YOUR BOOKED APPOINTMENT.
We encourage you to wear a mask to help reduce the spread of infection and clothing that allows the vaccinator easy access to your upper arm. You are advised not to drive for 15 minutes after being vaccinated.
